Drum screen PTS, externally loaded drum screen

Operating principle

The process or waste water is evenly channelled through an inlet chamber on the screen drum surface. The liquid first flows through the drum from outside to inside. The solids deposit on the surface and are removed with a wiper attached to the rotating drum. The filtered liquid then flows again through the drum from inside to outside and drains through a drain nozzle.

If necessary, a spray pipe with nozzles located inside the screen drum cleans the screen surface.
